Privacy Notice

• Account data: name, email, password (stored only as a salted hash), optional phone and bio.
• Host business data (paid hosts only): business type and name, US mailing address, phone, tax acknowledgment.
• What we never collect: your SSN/EIN, date of birth, bank account, or card numbers. Identity and payment data go directly to Stripe, our payment processor, under Stripe's privacy policy.
• Booking & activity data: bookings, reviews, ratings, messages with hosts/guests, waiver acceptances, and optional self-reported hunting-license info.
• Location: only if you tap "near me" or type a location — used to sort results, never stored server-side. Drawings you make on maps stay in your own browser.

To run the marketplace: showing hosts who's booked, showing guests how to check in, processing payments through Stripe, two-way ratings, safety/incident handling, and legally required records. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't run third-party advertising trackers.

• Between users: hosts see a booking guest's name, guest rating, message thread, and (for hunt bookings) any license info the guest chose to add. Guests see host display name and listing info. Exact check-in details unlock only after booking.
• Processors: Stripe (payments/identity), our hosting provider, and email delivery. Each only receives what it needs.
• Legal: we disclose if required by law or to address safety incidents.

One session cookie keeps you signed in. No cross-site tracking cookies, no ad pixels.

Edit your account details anytime. To export or delete your account and data, email privacy@wildpass.club — we complete deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep (completed transactions, tax records, safety reports). We honor applicable state privacy rights (access, deletion, correction, non-discrimination).

Data is kept while your account is active and as required for legal and tax purposes afterward. Traffic is TLS-encrypted; passwords are bcrypt-hashed; payment data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure — report concerns to security@wildpass.club.

WildPass is not directed to children under 13 and accounts require age 18+. We'll post changes to this notice here with a new effective date.
